Railay Beach return longtail from Ao Nang
The trip, in short
Railay is cut off from the mainland by limestone cliffs, so the only way in is a ten-minute longtail from Ao Nang. The boats leave when they have eight passengers, which on a quiet afternoon can mean a long wait.
Booking a return crossing fixes both ends: a reserved seat out and a boat held for your chosen time back. Spend the day on West Railay, walk to Phra Nang for the shrine, or climb the muddy trail to the lagoon if you have the shoes for it.

Before you book
- Boarding is a wade — you step off the bow into shin-deep water. Bring shoes you can get wet.
- The last boats back leave around 18:00; after dark there is no service.
- In heavy weather the marine department can suspend longtails, in which case we refund in full.

This service is performed in Thailand, by our Bangkok operation. Access Transit Express, registered in Indonesia, is the merchant of record for the payment: the charge, the invoice and any refund come from us, and your statement reads ACCESSTRANSITEXPRESS.
Our role, in fullCancellation & refunds
Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund to the card you paid with. Cancel later than that and the booking is non-refundable, because the vehicle, seat or greeter has already been committed.
- Refunds are issued within one business day and reach your card in 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
- If we cancel — weather, a marine department closure, a mechanical failure — you choose a new date or a full refund, whenever we cancel.
- No-shows and cancellations inside the window are not refundable. We will always try to move you to another date first.
